GODYLA WINERY AT THE PAWŁOWICE PALACE
The Godyla Palace Winery was established in 2015 on the southern slope of Pawłowicka Hill (249.5 m above sea level), near Pawłowice Palace, whose builders planted grapevines 150 years earlier – though this cultivation has not survived to the present day. Currently, 10,000 white wine grape varieties are cultivated on an area of 2.6 hectares: Solaris, Johanniter, Muscaris, Souvignier Gris, Siegerrebe, and red and rosé wine varieties: Cabernet Cortis, Rondo and Regent.
Of course, you can try the wines at the Hotel, Restaurant and Spa of Pawłowice Palace, dating back to 1864. It was its history that inspired the current owners (the Godyla family) to establish a winery here. The winery and the palace form an inseparable duo. It is in the cellars of the restaurant building that the local wines are produced, which are then matured in bottles in the palace's underground cellars.
The wines can, of course, be purchased at Pawłowice Palace (in-store and online) and at selected specialist wine shops and restaurants.
Pawłowice Palace invites guests to combine a winery visit with a stay at the palace. It is also possible to arrange a winery tour combined with a tasting of wines and snacks (cheeses, hams, olives, bread). To make a reservation, please call: +48 34 341 14 66.
