HISTORICAL PARK IN SŁAWIĘCICE
One of the largest and most interesting parks in the Opole region is the historic park in Sławięcice, a district of Kędzierzyn-Koźle. Its history is linked to the now-defunct Sławięcice palace, which belonged to the industrialist Hohenlohe-Ohringen family. A late-Classicist gardener's house and a Baroque garden pavilion known as the Belvedere have been preserved within the park. The revitalized park is an excellent place for relaxation and recreation. A stroll along the beautiful paths, lined with mature trees, often exotic or a ride along the designated pedestrian and bicycle path are undoubtedly excellent ways to spend time in Kędzierzyn-Koźle.
