MUSEUM OF RELIGIOUS ART IN LIGOTA DOLNA

Poland's only private museum displaying some 2,000 religious art exhibits, including antique statues, sculptures, shrines, crosses, objects of religious worship and devotional items. The highlight of the exhibition is Poland's largest collection of oleographs, prints and lithographs, numbering around 1,000 items. It consists of original framed religious paintings from the 19th and early 20th centuries, depicting figures of saints, biblical scenes, images of the Virgin Mary, Polish Madonnas, passion scenes, etc. The museum is housed in a beautiful building of a pre-war inn. The facility also has an antique shop where original old devotional items, especially souvenirs from St. Anne's Mountain, can be bought or sold, as well as a café.

In 2019, the Museum of Religious Art received the main prize in the Competition for the Best Tourist Product – OROT Certificate 2019.
