LUBSZA
Lubsza is located in the Brzesko County and situated north of Brzeg, on the main route to Namysłów. This charming locality, placed on the edge of the Stobrawa Landscape Park, is currently the seat of the municipality. Thanks to the proximity of nature, the forest surroundings, and the beautiful, natural landscape, it is an oasis of peace and quiet. The many nature and educational paths in the area are perfect places for recreation in nature. The Lubsza municipality is a very good choice for family recreation in the form of hiking and cycling. In addition to the picturesque and natural setting, Lubsza also boasts a former Evangelical church from 1822, today serving the parish of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. A monument to the parishioners bestially murdered in 1940 was placed next to the church . On a visit to the area, it is also worth going to Kościerzyce, where there is a former Evangelical Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (currently a filial church of the parish in Lubsza). The church dates back to the 14th or 15th century and has a characteristic tower with a "half-timbered" construction in its upper part. The church is on the Brzesko Polychromy Trail. Also worth mentioning is the nearby water reservoir
with the extremely mysterious and even legendary name "Babi loch" (which could be translated to "A crone's dungeon"), located between Kościerzyce and Nowe Kolnie - a remarkably charming place for a forest hike.
