POKÓJ
Situated on the edge of the Stobrawa Landscape Park. In the past, the elite of the 18th and 19th-century world flocked to the theatre and concert hall that used to be here. In 1806-1807, taking advantage of the patronage of the second owner of Pokój Heinrich Friedrich Eugen, Carol Maria von Weber stayed here.
Today, to commemorate these events, the Weber Parks and Gardens Music Festival is held here every year. The greatest treasure of Pokój is its historic park complex consisting of three parts: the French park - Baroque garden, the landscape park (from the 19th century), and the English Garden in Winna Góra. When it comes to monuments, it is worth visiting the Baroque-Rococo style Evangelical Church of Princess Zofia from the mid-18th century and the adjacent cemetery with many preserved 19th and 20th-century tombstones, figurative sculptures, stelae, and obelisks.
