LEWIN BRZESKI PALACE

Located within a park on the banks of the Nysa Kłodzka River in Lewin Brzeski stands a Baroque palace erected in 1771, which today houses a primary

school. The residence was built by Otto Leopold von Bees on the site of a previous palace that burned down in 1666. It is a three-winged Baroque structure. The front façade features an 18th-century portal and a balcony with a stone balustrade.

Adjoining the 18th-century building is a brick perimeter wall from the same period. The courtyard enclosed by this wall is accessible via three gates. Above each gate rests a panoply – a sculpted display of armour and weaponry.
