SULISŁAW PALACE MUSEUM

Sulisław Palace Museum is a unique place on the map of Opole, Poland and Europe. Established in 2019, the Museum brings together many places and stories. Its collections include works from different eras, styles and continents. Thus, you can see relics from all over the world there.

The Porcelain Collection is the most important showpiece of the Sulisław Palace Museum. However, apart from porcelain, there is an interesting collection of portraits framed in gold frames, mostly from the 19th century, but also older ones from the 18th century. It is housed in the vast corridor leading to the grand Congress Hall and is the centrepiece of the portrait and painting collection. A significant collection of paintings also adorns the interiors of the entire Palace.

Another permanent exhibition at the Museum is the ever-expanding Clock Collection. In addition to permanent exhibitions, the Museum hosts temporary exhibitions covering various fields of art and eras. It also hosts author meetings with special guests from around the world.

The museum's activities include the organization of concerts, primarily of Polish music by Józef Elsner and Baroque music by Silvius Leopold Weiss. Both outstanding composers were born in Grodków, the municipality where the museum is located.
