NYSA CITY PARK

The Nysa City Park is a large historic park covering 42 hectares. It was designed in the style of English landscape parks in which informality and romanticism were to dominate. In the past, the park's grounds were marshy, with two branches of the Białka river running through them. The Bishop's Gardens were locates near

the Młynówka River. Over the years, the area was drained by building mills. In the 19th century, elements of the fortifications were dismantled, new alleys were built, and trees were planted.

Two distinctive ponds were created, which offered opportunities for boating.
