BĄKÓW TOURIST AND RECREATION CENTRE. CAMPSITE NO. 23
The Tourist and Recreation Centre in Bąków was established in 1974 among forests and green areas on the edge of the Stobrawskie Forests. There are numerous cycle paths in the vicinity. The Kluczbork Reservoir (an integral part of the TRC) is located in close proximity to the Bąków campsite. The Centre features holiday cottages, a campsite with designated pitches for caravans, sanitary and social facilities, and the "EKOTUR" Training and Conference Centre. The resort has a wide range of recreational and sports facilities, including a 50-metre swimming pool, paddling pool, beach volleyball courts, basketball court, football field and tennis court.
The Stobrawa River runs through the central part of the site, dividing it into two functionally connected parts. Internal traffic is via two footbridges. Further, the Centre features an atmospheric water reservoir with
a surface area of 2.7 hectares, fed by the Stobrawa River. Run by the Polish Angling Association, the reservoir is used for breeding juvenile fish and as a recreational facility – with the possibility of renting kayaks and pedal boats. The Centre also has a paintball arena and a rope park.
The site includes a sizeable car park for 100 vehicles and refreshment facilities. The TRC also features two "green" (solar-powered) benches that allow tourists to charge their mobile devices and listen to music and weather information. In addition, two bicycle repair stations have been set up, including one that is solar-powered and equipped with a compressor. Solar lamps have been installed by the playground to illuminate it during the evening hours.
