PRUDNICK BORDER OF MIRACLES – AN UNFORGETTABLE ADVENTURE IN THE OPAWSKIE MOUNTAINS

The Prudnik commune offers unforgettable adventures in the Opawskie Mountains. Prepared by the Prudnik Commune Promotion and Development Agency, the Prudnik Border of Miracles, received the main award in the 2015 OROT Certificate for the Best Tourist Product of the Opole Region 2015. The product also qualified as one of the three best in the voivodship in the national competition of the Polish Tourist Organization.
The product consists of, among others:
- a network of multifunctional trails: hiking trails, including the Prudnik City Trail, cycling, Nordic walking and horseback riding trails , along with elements of small-scale infrastructure and publicly accessible observation towers. The trails connect with the Czech tourist
trail system.
the Sanctuary of St. Joseph, an important pilgrimage site in the Opolskie Voivodship. In the 1950s, Primate Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński was imprisoned in the Prudnik monastery.
A fully equipped Youth Hostel in Prudnik, with a branch in Wieszczyn, offering a variety of facilities, including disabled access and categorized tourist information points. The place covers the eastern part of the Opawskie Mountains, located within the Prudnik Commune.
