STEGU ARENA

The Sports and Entertainment Hall in Opole is a gem of modernist architecture. At Oleska Street, it is impossible not to notice the distinctive dome, which for years has hosted not only sporting events, but also concerts, exhibitions and fairs.

The building was commissioned on 20 July 1968, and in 2018 it celebrated its 50th anniversary.

After a thorough renovation of the historic "Okrąglak" (a round builiding), the building’s structure with its characteristic dome was preserved, which still serves as the hall’s signature feature. However, its interior has changed significantly. The stands, which were previously arranged in a circle, now form a rectangle. This is not the only change that has affected the building. The new hall has a capacity of approximately 3,500 seats. Its 2500 lux LED lighting meets the highest standards. Modern sound systems, spacious locker rooms, and TV facilities enhance the prestige of the venue at Oleska 70, which hosts numerous sports and cultural events.
