"AQUARIUM" SWIMMING POOL IN OPOLE

The Akwarium Indoor Swimming Pool in Opole is one of the facilities of the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre in Opole. It was built in the 1960s. However, in 2000, it underwent a thorough renovation and today it is one of the most modern aquatic facilities. Open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., except during the summer holidays due to technical maintenance.

There are two swimming pools available to customers: a sports pool measuring 25 x 12.5 m with a depth of 1.2 m to 3.8 m, which can accommodate 60 swimmers at a time, and a recreational pool measuring 12 m x 6 m. An additional attraction is

a jacuzzi (hydromassage bath) and a Finnish sauna. The swimming pool also has a 35-metre water slide. On the ground floor, there is a small pool measuring 12 m x 6 m, which is mainly intended for rehabilitation classes for people with disabilities, corrective swimming, swimming lessons for children and infants, and exercise classes for pregnant women. Trained lifeguards ensure the safety of swimmers. The facility is adapted to accommodate disabled persons.

The indoor swimming pool offers swimming lessons for children, adults and infants, diving courses, aqua aerobics, exercise classes for pregnant women, as well as corrective and rehabilitation classes. The swimming pool complex also features saunas, a solarium and a catering facility.
