The Church of Our Lady of Sorrows and St. Adalbert, called the Church on the Hill, the remains of the Daminican monastery. A Gothic basilica with a baroque interior and neo-Roman facade. A rich late baroque and rococo interior design from about the mid 18th century, with a valuable Gothic triptych - the altar of the Four Virgins type (about 1400). The old monastery built in the 18th century on the remains of the previous one from the first half of the 17th century. In 1846 it was transformed into a hospital. Nowadays, after renovation, it is the seat of the University of Opole.
